Which core sizes could we cut on this JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine?
Jota JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine could cut 35mm (1.38 inch) to 152mm (6 inches) diameter, 0.5mm to 15mm thickness paper or plastic tube.
How could you change from one core size to another on JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine?
You just need to change the revolving mandrel to a relative size, then the JT-600 manual paper core cutter is able to cut your desired paper core size.
How do you prevent JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine’s mandrel from getting scored by the revolving circular blade?
It is unavoidable that the mandrel will be scored by the revolving circular blade, after cutting for a period of time, there will be a dented line on the shaft.
After the dented line appears, the ratio of mandrel getting scored by revolving circular blade is quite low.
Besides, the circular blade is made of tungsten steel, and its hardness is quite high, no need to worry about the blade’s abrasion.
Why don’t you put bearing support under the revolving mandrel on JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine?
For 40mm diameter and 600mm length paper tube, no need to worry about bending problems when pushing down on the revolving mandrel;
For 25mm diameter paper tube, the shaft length will be customized to 400mm, then the bending problem will be avoidable.
So, JT-600 can only support Max. 400mm length paper tube of 25mm diameter.
Why you do not use PP coated sleeve on JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine’s mandrel to prevent dent on the mandrel surface?
For 3-inch diameter paper tubes, it’s easy to find PP-coated sleeves on the market, but for 25-mm and 40-mm diameter paper tubes, it is hard to find a compatible PP-coated sleeve.
The mandrel is made of steel, and its thickness is up to 10mm, this dent almost has no influence on the shaft’s usage.
So, no need to change the mandrel from time to time, it could be used for a long period.
Could your JT-600 manual paper core cutting machine support 110V/60Hz voltage as well?
Sure, we could customize the machine to support your 110V/60Hz voltage.
How Do You Operate the JT-600 Paper Core Cutter?
As mentioned earlier, the JT-600 machine is simple and easy to operate.
All you need to do is slide the cardboard into the core mandrel, measure up the length you’ll be cutting, switch it on, and lower the cutting blade to cut.
It’s that simple.
To change core diameters, unscrew the core chuck and replace it with a chuck of the diameter you need.
How Many Cuts Per Minutes? What’s the Speed of the JT-600?
As a manual cutting device, the speed is dependent on the person using the core cutter. How fast does the operator work? Can he/she produce how much cardboard in a minute?
The machine’s simplicity affects the speed in addition to the operator. The machine’s cutting speed is also influenced by the sharpness of the blade.
We advise comparing various operators in order to produce goods as quickly and efficiently as possible. The cardboard core cutting will then be assigned to the person who cuts the fastest.
How Many Cores Diameters Can the JT-600 Machine Make?
It cuts core diameters between 35mm (1.3 inches) to 152mm (6 inches). The machine produces lengths of 30mm (1 inch) to 600mm (23.6 inches).
The JT-600 core machine has been designed to handle core thicknesses of 0.5mm to 15mm. And its blade synchronization is round cutting.
Does the JT-600 Have A Stop-Lever? How Do You Measure Length?
Check the video:
As you can see from the video, our core cardboard cutter doesn’t have a stop lever. But it has a stopper at the shaft, which helps measure the length you want to cut the cardboard.
The shaft-stopper is a much easier way of measuring the length compared to the stop-lever. This is because levers tend to break after years of usage.
At the same time, since our measuring stopper is embedded in the mandrel shaft, you don’t have to worry about the stop lever.
Is the JT-600 Core Cutter Designed to Prevent Workplace Accidents?
Yes, of course. Preventing the possibility of the workplace was our intention when designing the JT-600 machine.
For example, the switch is located right below the machine, farther away from the cutter blade. This way, when you switch on the machine, you have all the time to hold onto the handle before lowering it to cut the cardboard.
The machine is also at knee height. This lets you make cuts without fear of cutting, exposing your face or arms towards the machine.
Better yet, the cutter handle is situated right at the middle of the mandrel, which enables you to switch left-hand to right-hand usage. Therefore, if the operator is left-handed, the JT-600 allows for such a switch.
How Effective Is the Drive Core Chuck?
The core chuck is mechanical and has an easy-service concept. The chuck actually guarantees operational safety, thanks to its spring tension.
This makes it easy to change the drive chuck with an adapter into any core diameter.
Best of all, there is very minimal conversion, and you don’t have to worry about frequent maintenance.
How Swift Is the Changing Process between Core Diameters?
Changing the core diameters is pretty swift. It takes only a few seconds.
You need to change the revolving mandrel to a relative size; then, the JT-600 manual paper core cutter is able to cut your desired paper core size.
Specifically, the operator simply unscrews the core chuck and adjusts the bolts as per the core diameter you need.
How Strong Is The Cutting Blade? How Many Blades Come With The Machine?
The machine comes with one cutter blade. The blade is made of tungsten steel, which makes the cutter blade very strong.
Basically, cutter blades made of tungsten steel have excellent properties. Tungsten steel blade has high resistance to tear and wear, especially in high heat.
You don’t have to worry about getting the blade getting dull. The tungsten steel alloy makes the cutter blade tough and strong to last several months of usage.
How Do You Avoid Dulling The Blades? How Is The JT-600 Core Cutter Designed To Prevent Blade Damage?
The handle for the JT-600 core cutter machine has an in-built rotary depth gauge that limits cutting penetration. This helps extend the knife blade’s life, which means preventing blade damage.
What’s The Repeat Accuracy?
The JT 600 core cutter holds the repetitive cuts to close tolerance using an in-built scale for the measuring bar. At the mandrel, adjustable stop-shaft guarantees the length measurements remain intact, thus ensuring accuracy for repeated cuts.
How Do You Prevent Burrs From Forming Within The Cardboard Tubes?
The mandrel is smooth enough and is made of steel. Hence you don’t have to worry about burrs forming inside the cardboard’s cores.
Why Doesn’t the JT-600 Have Bearing Support Under the Revolving Mandrel to Prevent Wobbling?
Of course, you need support and rigidity to guide the cutter right through the cardboard as it guarantees a clean cut. So, why don’t we put bearing support on the mandrel?
Well, that’s because the revolving mandrel for the JT-600 is very stable.
For 40mm diameter and 600mm length paper tube, no need to worry about bending problems when pushing down on the revolving mandrel;
Also, for the 25mm diameter paper tube, the shaft length will be customized to 400mm, then the bending problem will be avoidable.
Therefore, the JT-600 can only support Max. 400mm length paper tube of 25mm diameter.
How Do You Prevent the Machine’s Mandrel from Getting Scored by the Revolving Circular Blade?
It is unavoidable that the revolving circular blade will score the mandrel. After cutting for a while, there will be a dented line on the shaft.
After the dented line appears, the ratio of mandrel getting scored by revolving circular blade is quite low.
Besides, the circular blade is made of tungsten steel. Its hardness is quite high, no need to worry about the blade’s abrasion.
Why Do You Not Use PP Coated Sleeve On JT-600 Manual Paper Core Cutting Machine’s Mandrel to Prevent Dent on Mandrel Surface?
For a 3-inch diameter paper tube to find PP coated sleeve on the market, but for 25mm and 40mm diameter paper tubes, it is hard to find a compatible PP-coated sleeve.
The mandrel is made of steel, and its thickness is up to 10mm. This dent almost does not influence the shaft’s usage.
So, no need to change the mandrel from time to time. It is usable for a long period.
Could Your JT-600 Manual Paper Core Cutting Machine Support 110V/60Hz Voltage As Well?
Regarding voltage, the JT-600 manual core cutter supports 3 Phases, 4 Wires, and 380V/50Hz.
However, if you need a 110/760Hz voltage, we can customize the machine as per your requirement(s).
